The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has declared that it will not reconsider its resolve to impeach Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura if he does not give satisfactory answers to the allegations of misappropriation and constitutional breach levelled against him.
The chairman, House Committee on Information and Security, Hon. Mohammed Baba Ibaku, who stated this yesterday in Lafia, said no amount of demonstration and protest would deter the Assembly from carrying out its constitutional obligation.
“We are not going to reconsider our decision because it is not based on any sentiment,” he stressed, adding “the fact that he (Al-Makura) paid people to dance on the streets is far from addressing the issue at
