The season of induction came for the Inner Wheel Club of Surulere, Lagos. A time when changing of baton is done by transferring servant leadership position to another after one tenure has ended.
On this premise, this has seen the emergence of new entrant into the scene of piloting the philanthropic gestures for the less privileged in the society. Thus giving room for Inner Wheel Club Member Yewande Odunuyi to be the new President.
Consequently, the role played by the District Chairman, Moninuola Gbadegeshin, is one in a million, towards making the society a better place through supports to the less privileged and members alike in Surulere and environs.
The new list of executive members are:
IWM Yewande Odunuyi – President
IWM Yetunde Oguntoyinbo – Vice President
IWM Ololade Osomo – Secretary
IWM Oloruntobiloba Saka Cole – Treasurer
IWM Omoshola Adegbie – ISO.
According to the 33rd President IWM Antonia Yewande Odunuyi who presented her speech on Sunday 26th July, 2020; during her induction ceremony stated that, it is with great honour and humility to be with members.
She highlighted various projects to be carried out in the course of the year;Provision of desks and tables to selected secondary schools in the community, provision of desktop computers, visitation and provision of identified needs to motherless babies home and empowerment of three (3) widows.
Thereby, craving for support through generous donations and payment of levies.
IWM President, Yewande Odunuyi opined that it is important to work in tandem with this year’s theme tagged: ” Lead the Change”, to enable inner wheel club Surulere, Lagos; achieve above the limitations in the society.
